The extension operates entirely locally on your device and only accesses publicly available GitHub data through GitHub's official API.

What We Do

Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome's local storage API to:

• Cache GitHub statistics for 5 minutes to improve performance and reduce API calls
• Store user preferences such as dark mode settings and repository display limits

All data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any third-party servers or services.

API Calls

The extension makes API calls to:

• GitHub's public API (https://api.github.com) to fetch publicly available GitHub statistics

These API calls only access information that is already publicly available on GitHub. We do not access:

• Private repositories
• Private user information
• Authentication tokens
• Any sensitive data

Permissions Explained

activeTab

Used to detect when you are viewing a GitHub profile page, allowing the extension to display relevant statistics for that user.

storage

Used to cache data locally and save your preferences (dark mode, settings). All data remains on your device.

Host Permissions

• https://github.com/* - To enhance GitHub profile pages with additional statistics

Data Sharing

All data remains on your device. We do not:

• Collect personal information
• Track user behavior
• Share data with advertisers

Third-Party Services

The extension only communicates with GitHub's official public API. We do not use any analytics services, advertising networks, or other third-party services.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. All cached data and preferences can be cleared by:

• Uninstalling the extension
• Clearing Chrome's extension storage
• Disabling the extension
